Salman Shah was a Bangladeshi actor and successful model. He was born on 19 September 1971 in his grandfather’s house in Sylhet, Bangladesh. His father’s name is Komar Uddin Chowdhury, while his mother’s name is Neela Chowdhury. His birth name is Shahriar Chowdhury Emon, but in film life he is known as Salman Shah.
He studied at Boyra Model High School in Khulna. He passed SSC in 1986 from Dhanmondi Arab Mission School in Dhaka. Completed intermediate from Adamji Cantonment College. Passed B.Com. from Maleka Science College, Dhanmondi.
He started his acting career with a drama on Bangladesh Television. But in the 90s, he became one of the most popular artists in film. He started his acting career in 1985 with BTV’s drama “Akash Chhoya.” He then acted in “Deyal,” “Sob Pakhi Ghore Fire,” “Soikote Saros,” “Noyon,” and “Swopner Prithibi.” He also acted in two serials, “Pathar Samay” and “Itikatha.”

On 12 August 1992, Salman entered into marriage with Samira Haque, the daughter of a close friend of his aunt. Samira Haque was a beauty parlor business woman. Samira worked as Salman’s costume designer in two films.
He died on September 6, 1996. His body was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence in Dhaka. Although the autopsy report identified the cause of death as suicide, the circumstances surrounding his death remained unclear. Many have blamed his wife, Samira, for Salman Shah’s death, and later Salman’s family filed a case against his wife, Samira, and a few others, but the case has not progressed further, and the mystery surrounding Salman’s death has not been revealed. According to the police investigation department, Salman Shah committed suicide.
Even after so many years of his death, his popularity has not diminished at all. Although he did not get a chance to work in the world of cinema for a long time, he was a favorite actor among people of all generations, which is still visible today.
