First, you have to wash the cloth and remove the starch before printing the block on it. You have to spread the sack on a table. Spread a thick woolen blanket or kantha on the sack and spread the cloth on which the block will be printed on it. Now mix all the colored ingredients well in a container on one side of the table and spread it well on the blanket in the middle of the tray with a brush. Keep the color tray. Place the piece of old blanket in the middle of the tray. Press the blanket inside the tray and paint the wooden block well. After that, if you want to design the fabric with that block, press it down firmly to make the design on the fabric. The cloth should be left in the air for a while and then removed as soon as the color dries.

Also, cloth, sari, salwar kameez, orna, fatwa, Punjabi, bed sheet, cushion cover, etc. can be block printed.
